RADAR Data Acquisition (RDA) System

Introduction

The Radar Data Acquisition system (RDA) is a portable system designed to record and display data from a research lab with polarisation diversity signals from RADAR.

Physically the RDA system consist of IF recorder unit, RF recorder unit with Acquisition software in host PC. Connection setup for the radar is made at four levels radar timing signals (trigger, polarization control and range gates), receiver (in-phase and quadrature video, log output from both horizontally and vertically polarized receivers), synchronous for monitoring azimuth and elevation, and Ethernet for communicating with a host PC and RDA system.
